Reason
Recently I saw the frustration of a simple Whatsapp group art contest turn into confusion and stress for the organizers and participants, It is easy to feel cheated when it’s just a popularity contest and there is no system in place to manage votes and sentiment. This system helps the judge and organizers to be more informed.
If there are any competition needs I have missed and needs to be added please let me know and I will factor them into the future updates.
The Solution
I built a system that managed the Contest entries and the voting system that is flexible, allowing for different ways of voting and adding restrictions to entries.
The entry for widget
Allows upload their art with and give all information required to contact them.
The description gives them a chance to pitch their artwork to the users who are voting and even a link to their social media.
Once an entry is submitted it will then need to be approved by admin.
Competition Settings
Set your competition restrictions such as how many entries and the total score each voter can distribute
You can give the voter multiple Criteria to vote on. If you want to keep it simple you are able to give them just one aspect to vote on.
MEDIA SETTINGS AND LIMITS
The organizer is able to set the media type, dimensions and file size,
Video can be enabled to allow users to enter by providing a Youtube Link.

Voting
